Luke Hards – President
Technical Manager – Photometry, Radiometry and Acoustics. Responsible for all technical aspects of the laboratories, including research and development to satisfy existing and future client requirements.
He actively participates in various aspects of Standards, Quality, Accreditation and Metrology on an international level. Holding a National Diploma in Electrical Engineering, his metrology experience extends from laboratories in the private sector to the National Metrology Institute in South Africa. His expertise, over the past 36 years, includes -Establishing Quality Management Systems to ISO/IEC 17025, from implementation to accreditation.
Design and development of Measurement Systems Internal auditing – ISO/IEC 17025.
Organizing and implementing Proficiency Testing Schemes.
Lead Assessor and Technical Assessor / Expert– Actively involved in assessments (ISO/IEC 17025, ISO/IEC 17043) within USA, Africa, Middle and Far East, Asia for various ILAC recognized Accreditation Bodies internationally.
Published and presented papers at conferences and workshops.
Develops and presents Measurement Science Training Courses.
Actively participates at Specialist Technical Committees internationally.
Received awards for contributions to Metrology and Accreditation in South Africa.
